New Iberia, Louisiana (KARA)

Search for Grumman S-2 Tracker

The Grumman S-2 Tracker was the first purpose-built single airframe anti-submarine warfare

aircraft to enter service with the U.S. Navy.  (Wikipedia)

The Naval Air Station New Iberia, now Acadiana Regional Airport, served as a training base for

S-2 crews in the early 1960s.

Our goal is to put an S-2 Tracker on display to commemorate its history here at New Iberia.
